Cassius is Suffolk County Council’s digital care model, rolling out technology-enabled care plans that enable more vulnerable residents to lead happier, more connected and more independent lives in their own homes.

As a pioneering service that required a large degree of internal culture change and the buy-in of different groups of stakeholders, Suffolk County Council required support with communications, training materials and visibility.

What we DID:

Project Comms Strategy

To support implementation we created an external comms strategy. This included designing Cassius branded infographics, containing all the correct and relevant information provided by the team.

PR strategy

This strategy also involved us writing press releases, detailing all the great work that Cassius has generated and providing statistics to encourage other councils to follow suit.

Product guides/printed collateral

We produced and printed branded mini product guides for Cassius. These small card brochures includes detailed information on the products,, which Suffolk County Council can now hand to colleagues and practitioners, to educate service users about the technology available as the Cassius Digital Care Offer.

Video Content

Our support also involves scripting and co-producing an annual promotional video for Cassius to use as part of its internal and external comms plans. We appointed a production company that could deliver the brief set by Suffolk County Council and Rethink Partners, within scope and budget.

Interactive tool design

Finally, our internal comms strategy involves designing interactive tools for colleagues to use and build knowledge, such as interactive PDFs, needs grids and other collateral that can be distributed across the organisation.

Award Entries

The award entries we have written for Cassius have resulted in 8 wins and finalist awards over a period of two years, representing an 80% success rate.
