By purchasing an Out of the Box Website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully to ensure you understand the scope of services provided.
1. Definitions
- We/Us/Our: Refers to Blue Cactus Digital.
- You/Your: Refers to the customer purchasing the Out of the Box Website.
- Service: The Out of the Box Website packages, including Self-Install, Managed Install, and Managed Install Plus.
- Extras: Optional add-ons such as hosting, maintenance, content setup, and training.
2. Packages
2.1 Self-Install (£250)
- Includes theme files and an instructional video for self-installation.
- Delivery of files and video within 2 working hours of payment receipt.
- No further setup or customisation is included.
2.2 Managed Install (£500)
- We will install your website theme on your hosting platform or ours (if you purchase a hosting package).
- Installation is completed within 48 working hours of receiving all required information.
- Customisation such as colours, fonts, and logo placement is not included.
2.3 Managed Install Plus (£750)
- Includes theme installation, application of your colours, fonts, and logo.
- Delivered within 72 working hours after all required materials are provided.
- Content and images will not be added unless purchased separately.
3. Extras
3.1 Hosting
- Shared Hosting: £10 per month.
- Dedicated Hosting: £60 per month.
- Hosting is provided as a subscription service and is billed monthly. Cancellation requires 30 days’ written notice.
3.2 Website Maintenance
- £60 per month, including:
- Plugin, WordPress, and theme updates.
- Daily backups.
- Monthly performance and security alerts.
- Website outage fixes.
- Reduced rates for additional development (£75/hour instead of £100/hour).
- Maintenance is billed monthly and requires 30 days’ written notice for cancellation.
3.3 Content Setup
- Standard: £250 for adding your content and images to up to five pages.
- Plus: £1,500 for professionally written, SEO-optimised content for up to five pages and image integration.
3.4 Training
- One-hour training session: £150.
- Provided via video call and must be scheduled within 30 days of purchase.
4. Payment
- Full payment is required upfront before services commence.
- Payments are non-refundable once work begins.
- All prices exclude VAT, which will be added where applicable.
5. Delivery Timelines
- Delivery timelines depend on the package and extras chosen.
- Delays caused by incomplete information or missing assets provided by you are not the responsibility of Blue Cactus Digital.
6. Client Responsibilities
- You must provide all necessary assets (e.g., logos, content, colour preferences) promptly if you opt for a Managed Install Plus Website.
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any information supplied for the website.
7. Limitations
- Out of the Box Websites are template-based and do not include bespoke design or customisation unless agreed in writing.
- Any additional work outside the package scope will be charged at £100/hour.
8. Support
- Support is only provided as part of a paid maintenance plan (at a rate of £75/hour) or billed separately at £100/hour.
- Free support is not included beyond the scope of the purchased package.
9. Liability
- We are not responsible for issues arising from hosting providers, third-party plugins, or software conflicts.
- We are not responsible to fix your website should your website be hacked, unless you are on a paid maintenance plan, at which point we will fix your website at no extra cost to you.
- In no event shall Blue Cactus Digital be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation of extras (e.g., hosting, maintenance) requires 30 days’ written notice.
- Refunds for packages or extras are not provided once payment has been made.
11. Amendments
- These terms and conditions may be updated at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
