Case Study:

Connected Homecare

Connected Homecare Barking & Dagenham web design

Connected Homecare is a national innovation project exploring how technology can be meaningfully introduced into people’s homes to support care delivery. Funded through the Adult Social Care Technology Fund, provided by the Department of Health and Social Care and distributed by NHS England, the project brings together London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Rethink Partners, Care City and Alcove.

The website acts as a central hub for tools, evidence and insights generated through the programme, including publicly available oversight of England’s largest evaluation of Technology Enabled Care in homecare.

What we did for Connected Homecare:

We worked collaboratively across partners to design and deliver a website that balanced credibility, accessibility and clarity for a wide range of audiences, including commissioners, care providers, policymakers and innovators. Using a staged approach, we began with brand development, creating clear branding documents, visual guidelines and infographics to support consistent communication.

The website was then designed and built to house evaluation findings, provider perspectives, implementation resources and practical tools. Clear information architecture and user journeys were central to the process, ensuring complex insights could be accessed and understood easily. Transparency and close communication were maintained throughout, reflecting the scale and importance of the programme.
