The History Market is an e-commerce business, selling history-themed food gifts and hampers. Leo wanted to re-launch the business and so approached us to help assist in getting everything ready for launch.
First thing we did was create a website for the business on Shopify, which we find to be the best hosting platform for e-commerce businesses. After numerous design meetings, Blue Cactus created their logo, and other branding for the business. From there, it was the case of implementing this new branding onto the website. We created website copy and SEO/keyword research for the website too.
We advised The History Market that having an email marketing strategy would be extremely beneficial for them. They agreed and so we decided to set up a History Market sign up on the website, where customers would receive newsletters surrounding historic news, brand discounts, and product information by signing up. We wrote the copy and designed the emails, and built the funnels on Klaviyo.
The History Market built their social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) where their target audiences were likely to be, but wasn’t too sure where to start. Blue Cactus created them a 3-month social media calendar full of content ideas surrounding posts and videos/reels.
Once approved, we wrote 3 months worth of content on British history, holidays (Christmas and Black Friday), each with the captions and graphics completed. These were scheduled on their social media accordingly. Blue Cactus continues to manage their social media channels too, engaging with customers, answering questions, and sharing posts to their profiles.
Together, The History Market and Blue Cactus took images and videography of all products and hamper collections to use throughout the website and social media.
We advised The History Market that they start a social media ad campaign to coincide with the launch of their business. This would help to build brand awareness. Blue Cactus formulated the ideas, wrote the ad copy and created the ad graphics.
