Planning your day, or even better, your week, makes it so much easier to manage your time.

Top tips for planning your time:

✅ Write a list of the things you need to do this week, with how long each will take.

✅ Split into three columns: MUST DO – things that need to be done due to contractual reasons for example. NICE TO DO – not so pressured, but need to be done this week. UNNECESSARY – things that don’t actually need to be done.

✅ Get your diary. Block each day out with things that have to be done. I mean things like eating, calls, picking kids up.

✅ Add in the MUST DOs on the days they have to be done.

✅ Add in the NICE TO DOs where you have gaps

✅ Any spaces? Get rid of some of those UNNECESSARY tasks.

👉 Make sure you limit each slot to a few hours MAX, otherwise you lose focus. Switching tasks keeps you focused.

👉 Don’t have any time in the day? As much as you probably don’t want to, use the evenings where you can or get up earlier. You don’t have to do this, but if you moan about having no time, you kinda have no choice. YOU have control of your time.
