So many small business owners are scared of taking risks and that’s one of the things that’s holding them back from growing their business.
Taking risks can be scary, because doubt is ALLOWED to creep in. You start thinking of the worst case scenario rather than the best case scenario.
Yesterday, I did something I thought I’d never do. I moved away from Mailchimp and onto ActiveCampaign for my email marketing. To those that know me and what I do, this will come as a surprise, because I’ve always taught Mailchimp courses.
Moving away from Mailchimp means I’m going to have to move away from teaching Mailchimp (although I can still teach the principles of email marketing and creating campaigns, which is the most important thing in my opinion). I made the switch (doubling my monthly costs), because a lot of my Mailchimp emails weren’t being delivered and were ending up in junk folders. I needed a more professional solution.
I’ve been umming and ahhhhing for a while about this, but finally made the leap and although the effort it’s taking to move my 53672828 campaigns over, I think it’s totally going to be worth it for higher open rates and more conversions.
